We are the BEST (and only) A Capella Group on Campus!

Picture
We are the Clarkson Golden Knotes, the co-ed A Capella group at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. We pride ourselves in being one of the few performing arts groups at our predominatly engineering and science school. We were founded in 2001 and grew from a few friends getting together to sing, to an organized group which performs at various events on campus. How did we get our name you ask? Our mascot at Clarkson is the Golden Knight, with that cornerstone we derived our name, the Golden Knotes.

We have a group of currently 12 members and growing! We have two wonderful music directors Amy Hoskins and Robby Castro who are both students at SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music. To find out where you can see us next, click on the Events tab. Every semester we have our Final Performance the Thursday of dead week, which showcases all the music we have worked on that semester.

If your interested in hearing our sound just stop by upstairs Cheel Tuesdays or Thursdays from 8-10pm.
